We are a friendly team of Community Food and Health Workers. We can offer the following FREE services across Sefton.

Cook and eat sessions.

Healthy eating sessions.

Healthy Habits courses.

Start Well

Antenatal healthy eating sessions

Improve nutritional health of mums-to-be by increasing knowledge and understanding of the Eatwell Plate.

Healthy eating for breastfeeding mums

Provide healthy eating information for breastfeeding mums.

Parent and toddler (1-5 years old) cookery courses 

Develop practical cooking skills which will benefit the whole family and encourage healthy eating habits at an early age.

Develop Well

Deliver cookery programmes for age groups 5-19 years providing information on the importance of a healthy balanced diet.

Work Well

Healthy eating/practical cookery courses in the workplace

Improve healthy weight of adults.

Employees will increase knowledge and awareness of what constitutes a healthy diet.

We can deliver practical cookery courses and cooking demonstrations in the workplace and highlight the link between food and health.

    Primary Care

    Working with GP Practices in Sefton focusing on behaviour change in regards to how we shop, cook and eat.

    Provide support and practical cookery sessions and healthy eating guidance for residents and those with long-term conditions.

      Age Well

      Working with older people

      Use cookery as a means to prevent social isolation while improving nutritional and mental wellbeing in older people.
